Nurse Visit

Today we had the school nurse come talk to us about her job. She showed the kids how germs spread by putting some germs (glitter) on their hands. The students were then to shake their neighbor’s hand. By the end everybody had germs (glitter) on their hands. Since we had sooo many germs we had to wash them!

We made our very own doctor/nurse kits! 

 

Community Helpers

We are having so much fun learning about our community helpers! We started our community helper centers where students “pretend” to be a certain community helper. We are having some wonderful guest speakers come talk to us about their careers. 

Today we had a farmer come tell us about his job. He brought in some vegetables from his farm.

Ebony and Carter are being construction workers!

 

Cruz is being a veterinarian!

 

Griffin is a police officer and Carter is an astronaut! 

Gracey is being a teacher!

 Chloe is being a dentist!

Claire and Ebony are working at the grocery store! 

 

Emily is being an artist! 

RJ, Marcus, and Colt are excited about being community helpers! 

First week!
